In 1978, TELECO produced the first commercially viable MWD tool that set a benchmark for the industry in terms of measurement and reliability. INTEQ have built on this phenomenally successful tool and continued to service the industry with high quality offerings such as the NaviTrak probe based MWD system, the OnTrak integrated MWD system, the EMTrak electromagnetic MWD system, and our latest innovation, the TeleTrak LCM tolerant MWD system.
Providing core MWD measurements of azimuth, inclination, tool face and temperature, our different systems also provide additional measurements such as vibration and stick slip, gamma ray, resistivity and annular pressure. These systems also act as a based platform for INTEQ's AutoTrak Rotary Steerable System, Coiled Tubing Drilling system, drilling optimization and advance FE services. Powered by either turbine or battery, these tools operate over a large range of flow rates and hole sizes (3" - 26" hole).
The directional measurements that are provided by INTEQ's MWD tools are vital in the drilling of any well, as they are used to determine the position of the wellbore. The ability to navigate safely around other wells drilled from a highly crowded platform, and to then place the well in such a way as to maximize production are made possible only by highly accurate and reliable directional measurements. When used in conjunction with INTEQ's survey management service, the level of positional uncertainty is further diminished and customer's confidence in the position of their well enhanced.
